The Giving Coop is based in Salt Lake City. By buying from local businesses, you support your local economy. Your money stays in the community rather than large corporations elsewhere. In addition, local eggs are significantly more fresh. Super market produce travels long distances, whereas buying local produce provides you produce fresh from production. Local produce is not only fresher than supermarket produce, but also is free of GMO’s and harmful chemicals that industrial produce is often subject to.
In addition, by purchasing locally, there is reduced travel and lower gas emissions in the process of receiving your produce.
2. Delivery to your doorstep
The Giving Coop delivers eggs to you! Contact us via email with your order, and we deliver the eggs to your doorstep!
3. Farm fresh eggs
Store bought eggs are usually months old by the time they reach shelves, resulting in less nutritional value. Additionally, industrial hens have limited space and nutritional diet, giving lower quality eggs.
Our eggs are made from happy, backyard chickens. Our hens consume a diet of natural nutrients and high end feed. They are happy and healthy because of their access to open yards and plentiful space, allowing their eggs to have strong shells and rich yolks.
